2. Project Scope of Work

The scope of each project will be decided based on the approved proposal, requirements document, discussions, and other written confirmations between Webdotedit and the client.

Depending on the project, the scope can include:

  • Design and development requirements
  • Features and functionalities
  • Third-party integrations
  • Content requirements
  • Delivery milestones
  • Final deliverables

Any request or requirement that is not part of the agreed scope may be seen as work and might lead to additional charges and changes, to the project timeline.

3. Project Planning & Requirements

Before the project starts the client must provide the information and materials that are reasonably needed to complete the work.

These can be:

  • Business details
  • Branding materials
  • Content, images, and media
  • Technical requirements
  • Access credentials where required

Webdotedit can start the project work once enough information, approvals, and the needed resources are received from the client.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be agreed upon before the project or service begins. I find these clear payment terms help keep the project on track. We value transparency in payment.

General payment conditions include:

  • Payments must be completed according to the agreed schedule.
  • Development work may begin after receiving the required advance payment.
  • Delayed payments may result in project delays or temporary suspension.
  • Additional work outside the agreed scope will be billed separately.
  • Third-party costs such as domains, hosting, licenses, APIs, plugins, or software subscriptions are not included unless mentioned in the proposal.

5. Project Timeline & Delivery

Webdotedit will share an estimated project timeline after reviewing the scope, complexity, requirements and available resources.

Delivery timelines may be affected by:

  • Delayed client feedback
  • Missing content or approvals
  • Additional feature requests
  • Third-party service delays

Webdotedit will keep the client informed about project progress and important milestones.

6. Design & Development Process

Depending on the project, our usual way of working might have the following steps:

Requirement Analysis

We look at what the client wants to achieve with their business, who they want to reach what technical things they need and what they want the project to do overall.

Planning & Design

We plan how the project will be structured, how people will use it, and what features it will have. What it will look like based on the requirements that have been approved.

Development

Our group makes the website, app, software, or other digital thing according to what was agreed on and the designs that have been approved.

Testing & Review

The finished work is tested. Tested to make sure it works looks good on different devices runs smoothly and meets all the needed standards.

Final Delivery

Once everything that was agreed on has been done and approved the final solution is got ready to be given to the client put up or launched.

7. Client Review & Approval

The client is, in charge of looking at the designs the steps of the project and the things we give them during the time that was agreed on. Giving feedback and saying yes to things on time is important to keep the project on schedule. If the client takes long to give feedback say yes give content or provide other needed stuff the time it takes to finish the project might change. Once a step or the final thing has been approved, making changes or asking for new things might be treated as extra work.

8. Revisions & Changes

Webdotedit will make changes based on the terms and the work that was agreed on for the project. Requests that ask for changes new designs extra features or changes after something is approved can mean:

  • Additional development time
  • Additional charges
  • Updated timelines

9. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate project information
  • Provide required materials on time
  • Review and approve deliverables promptly
  • Maintain ownership rights for provided content
  • Ensure provided materials do not violate third-party rights

Webdotedit is not responsible for delays caused by client-side dependencies.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless it is written down and agreed, the rights to the approved work will go to the client after the full payment is made. Webdotedit keeps the rights to its intellectual property the way it works the things it can use again the tools it has the methods it uses and the templates it has. Materials that come from outside, like software, plugins, licenses, platforms, and other things that belong to others, will follow their own rules and licenses. Webdotedit can show the work it has done in its portfolio, website or ads unless there is a confidentiality agreement or a written deal with the client that stops this.

14. Cancellation Policy

Either Webdotedit or the client can ask to stop a project or service according to the project terms.

If the project is canceled:

  • Work that is done will still cost money.
