3. Project Scope & Requirements

Every project is carried out according to the requirements, features, deliverables, timeline, and pricing that Webdotedit and the client have agreed upon. The approved project scope is the foundation for the work that Webdotedit does. If the client asks for features, integrations, pages, functionality, redesigns, or any other work that is not within the agreed project scope, those changes may bring additional charges and may shift the original delivery timeline.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients have a role in keeping projects smooth and on time.

• Timely feedback and approvals

Delays caused due to missing information, delayed approvals, or unavailable resources may affect the project timeline.

5. Payment Terms

• Payment terms will be finalized before project commencement.

• Webdotedit reserves the right to pause services in case of delayed payments.

• Third-party expenses such as domain, hosting, premium plugins, software licenses, APIs, and external services may be charged separately unless included in the agreement.

6. Project Delivery & Timeline

Project timelines depend on factors. These factors include how complex the Project is, the scope of work, whether the required information is available, how the client gives feedback when approvals are received, and any third‑party dependencies. Webdotedit will make efforts to finish the Project within the agreed timeframe. Still, Project timelines may shift if delays happen that are beyond Webdotedit’s control. These delays may come from client responses, problems with third‑party services, technical dependencies, or changes in Project requirements.

7. Revisions & Modifications

The number and type of revisions that the Project will include will depend on the scope of work that was agreed. Reasonable revisions that stay within the approved scope may be added as agreed.

Requests that involve changes, a full redesign, extra functionality, new features, or changes made after final approval may be treated as additional work. These requests may bring charges and longer delivery time.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

Once the client has paid all agreed Project payments, ownership rights for the final approved deliverables will move to the client as set out in the Project agreement. Unless an agreement or a confidentiality clause says otherwise, Webdotedit may display the completed work, designs or Project details in its portfolio, website, presentations or marketing materials.

Third‑party software, plugins, themes, stock images, APIs, fonts, licenses and other external materials stay under the ownership and licensing terms that belong to them.

9. Third-Party Services

Some Projects might need the use of third‑party platforms, hosting providers, APIs, payment gateways, software, plugins, cloud services or other external tools. Webdotedit is not responsible for interruptions, price changes, policy changes, technical failures, limitations, suspensions, or the stopping of services that come from third‑party providers. Where it applies, the client must keep their accounts and subscriptions with third‑party providers up to date.

10. Website Security & Data Protection

Webdotedit takes steps to protect the client’s information and Project data and follows professional practices when handling that information. However, the client must also keep the security of their accounts, passwords, login credentials, hosting accounts, and other services that are linked to the Project.

The client should not share credentials via unsecured channels and should take reasonable steps to protect access to the systems.

11. Digital Marketing & SEO Services

Digital marketing and SEO outcomes can be affected by things like how search engines work, how much competition there is, what is happening in the industry, how much money is spent on ads, how good the website is, what is happening in the market, and changes made by other companies. Webdotedit offers expert plans, advice, and actions based on the work that has been agreed on. We don’t promise specific positions in search results, how many visitors the site gets, how many leads are created, how many sales happen, or how much money is made.

12. Hosting, Domains & External Licenses

Domain names, hosting services, SSL certificates, premium themes, plugins, software subscriptions, APIs, and other third-party tools often require purchases or ongoing renewal fees.

Unless a client has an agreement in place, they are fully responsible for keeping these services active. That includes making sure subscriptions are up to date, owning the rights to the domain, renewing them on time, and paying any charges. If any of these services are not renewed, it could cause problems. The website might go down. The app might stop working. Features might break.

13. Confidentiality

Webdotedit takes the privacy of client information seriously. We understand that clients share details during a project, and we are committed to protecting that information. We will do our best to keep business information safe. This includes project materials, documents, login credentials, strategies, and any other private data shared with us. Our goal is to deliver the agreed services while ensuring all such information remains secure.

Both Webdotedit and the client must keep all information private. This obligation applies throughout the project and beyond. The only exceptions are when sharing information is required by law or when both parties agree otherwise.

14. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Clients can ask to cancel a project. The outcome depends on where the project stands. We consider factors like how much work has been done, resources used, and costs already incurred. What parts of the project are complete. If a milestone has been reached. Services delivered, or if money has gone toward third-party tools, licenses, or other commitments, those payments may not be refunded. These are considered non-refundable because the work was done or the expense was incurred. Any refund, if allowed, will be decided based on the terms in the project agreement and the specific situation at the time of cancellation. We aim to handle each case transparently.
